This policy explains how Consistent Message Unipessoal LDA ("Consistent Message," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit https://www.consistent-msg.ioor contact us, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Portugal's implementing data protection law.

2. What data we collect, and why
Contact form
When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, company name (optional), and message. We use this to respond to your enquiry, and forward it to our internal CRM so our team can follow up. Legal basis: your consent in submitting the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
AI Assistant
Messages you send to the AI Assistant on this site are processed by our AI provider, Anthropic, to generate a response. We don't require an account to use it, and we don't link chat content to your identity beyond what you volunteer in the conversation itself. Legal basis: your consent in choosing to use the feature.
Cookies and consent records
We use a small number of cookies, described in the table below. When you make a cookie choice (accept, reject, or customize), we keep a record of that decision — the categories you chose, a timestamp, and your IP address and browser user agent — so we can demonstrate compliance with consent requirements if asked to. Legal basis: our legal obligation to keep evidence of consent, and (for analytics/marketing cookies themselves) your consent.
Server logs
Our hosting infrastructure keeps standard web server logs (IP address, requested URL, timestamp, user agent) for security and operational purposes, such as detecting abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and available.

4. Who we share data with
We share limited personal data with the service providers who help us run this site, each acting as our processor under a data processing agreement:
- Resend / Mailchimp Transactional — deliver transactional emails from the contact form.
- Anthropic — processes AI Assistant conversations to generate responses.
- Our internal CRM (hosted at portal.consistent-msg.io) — stores contact-form enquiries as sales leads.
- Our hosting provider — hosts the infrastructure this site and its data run on.
We don't sell personal data.
5. International transfers
Some of the providers above may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, to protect your data.
6. How long we keep data
Contact-form enquiries are kept for as long as needed to manage our relationship with you, or as required by law. Consent records are kept for as long as the consent they document remains valid (see the cookie table above), plus a reasonable period afterward to demonstrate compliance.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request erasure of your data
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing done before the withdrawal

8. Children
This site is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal data from children.
